purpose terminal keyboard layouts. If the part number
is no longer attached to your existing keyboard, you
can use these layouts to determine the type of keyboard
you have.
Wyse EPC (Enhanced PC) Keyboard
#840358-01 - Grey, #9018650-01
- White
This is the most common keyboard used
on Wyse terminals. It is easily distinguished from other
keyboards because of the 3 LED lights on the upper right
hand side of the keyboard (just like a regular PC keyboard
found on most computers). The cord for this keyboard
looks very similar to a phone cord. Used on the following
models: WY-55,WY-60,WY-65,WY99GT, WY-120/150/160,WY-285,
WY-325,WY-355,WY-370, and WY-520
Wyse ANSI 185 (Gate Array) Keyboard
#840105-01 - Grey
This keyboard is only used on Wyse 185
terminals and is distiguished from other ANSI keyboards
by the lack of a metal grounding strip around the keyboard
cord plug-in slot. Used on the following models: WY-185
Wyse ANSI Keyboard
#840366-01 - Grey, #901879-01
- White
This ANSI keyboard version which can
be differentiated from the Gate Array unit above by
its metal shield on the plug-in slot and is used on
the following models: WY-55,WY-65,WY-99GT, WY-120/150/160/185,
WY-285, WY-325,WY-355,WY-370,WY-520
Wyse ASCII Keyboard
#840105-01 - Grey, #901867-01
- White
The Wyse ACSII keyboard is commonly
found in place of the EPC keyboard.Easy to distinguish
from the EPC from it's lack of LED lights, and different
from the ANSI in the fact that it only has 16 function
keys and of course the layout of the keys. It is used
on the following models: WY-55,WY-60,WY-65,WY99GT,WY-120/150/160,WY-325,WY-355,WY-370
Wyse 30 Keyboard
#900023-01 - Grey
This keyboard is only used on the Wyse
30 terminal and is easily distinguished by its smaller
size as compared to the other keyboards listed. It is
roughly 2/3's the length and width of the other keyboards
listed. It is used on the following model only: WY-30
Wyse 50 Keyboard
#840059-01 - Grey
This keyboard can be distinguished from
the other ASCII keyboards by its black coiled cable
and round DIN style connector. This keyboard only works
with the following model: WY-50
